The Andalusia Police Department is currently searching for two suspects, Courtney Lee Porter and Tyquise Jamal Jenkins, wanted for Murder.

The Andalusia Police Department on Friday, January 8 arrested one of three suspects for whom it has obtained warrants for the November 16, 2020 murder of Micah Spencer Coon.  Brittany Head, 22, of Andalusia was arrested on Friday and charged with one count of Murder and one count of Burglary 1st degree. Head is being held in the Covington County Jail on a $1.15 million dollar bond.

Micah Spencer Coon was 26 when he died on November 16, 2020. Andalusia Police found Coon unresponsive as a result of a gunshot wound when they responded to a report of a shooting.

Andalusia Police has warrants for the arrest of Courtney Lee Porter, 29, and Tyquise Jamal Jenkins, 22, on charges of Murder and Burglary 1st degree.

Police Chief Paul Hudson said the case remains an active APD investigation.
