UPDATE: 19 Elmore County School Employees Quarantined with COVID-19, Additional 20 Self-Isolating, Supt. Dennis Says

FROM RICHARD DENNIS

SUPERINTENDENT OF ELMORE COUNTY SCHOOLS

We have completed the first few days of the new year and during this first week back, 19 employees and 32 students reported testing positive for COVID-19. We have continued to get notification of students that tested positive over the Christmas holidays which allows the local school administration to document and update student numbers accurately with the ADPH website.

System-wide, there are currently 19 employees quarantined with COVID-19 and an additional 20 that are self-isolating due to direct contact with positive COVID-19 cases. We will continue to monitor the health status of each school and communicate necessary changes to traditional school attendance as needed.

If you wish to get call outs and other system-wide communications texted to you through Remind, visit the Elmore County Public Schools website and follow the registration process.

Thank you for your support and have a great weekend!
