Everyone is Invited to Experience Our Fifth Annual
“Main Street Christmas” in Historic Downtown Prattville
Prattville, AL., -The Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce, our downtown merchants and the City of Prattville invite everyone to join us for our 5th Annual Main Street Christmas to be held on Tuesday, December 15th, 5:00- 7:30 PM. Come shop, eat and enjoy all that Prattville has to offer and you may be the one to win our “LOVE WHAT’S LOCAL” Basket filled with items showcasing our downtown merchants and $250 in cash!
Bring the family and meet your friends on Main Street in historic downtown Prattville to enjoy an evening filled with Christmas cheer. Santa will be visiting by the Christmas tree at Heritage Park and the Autauga Creek spillway. Although children will not be able to sit in Santa’s lap, they will be able to drop off their letters to tell him their last-minute Christmas wishes and to get some creative pictures beside the antique firetruck and the beautiful Christmas tree! There will be take home ornament kits for children sponsored by the Prattauga Art Guild, readings of T’was the Night Before Christmas by the Way Off Broadway Theatre, and horse-drawn carriage rides!
But please expect longer wait times this year, because the carriage rides will be limited to people in the same household.
Also, the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce will be giving away a “Love What’s Local” basket filled with items highlighting our downtown merchants and $250 in cash! To register for the drawing, stop by one of the Chamber’s tables, and for every receipt you collect from downtown merchants between 5-7:30 PM, you will receive one entry into the drawing. Come eat, shop and support local! And, the more receipts you collect from participating downtown merchants between 5:00 – 7:30 PM, the more chances you have to win! The drawing for the basket will be at 7:45 PM, due to social distancing protocols in place you do not have to be present to WIN!
This highly anticipated annual free family event is a great time for our community to come out and appreciate our beautifully decorated downtown while enjoying the spirit of the season. Shoppers are encouraged to complete their last-minute shopping by taking advantage of
extended the hours of our downtown merchants. With all the beautiful lights and decorations, there will be lots of special holiday photo ops throughout the downtown area that are perfect for your Christmas memories. Mask up and bundle up to enjoy a magical evening in historic downtown Prattville. We will be social distancing and request that visitors wear masks.
