MONTGOMERY COUNTY – At the request of Montgomery Police Chief Ernest Finley, Agents with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) State Bureau of Investigation
(SBI) are investigating an officer-involved shooting involving a Montgomery police officer. One subject was injured and later transferred to UAB hospital in Birmingham for treatment. No officers were injured.
The incident occurred at the MAPCO gas station located at 5550 Atlanta Highway in the city of Montgomery shortly before 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14. Nothing further is available as the investigation is ongoing.
