Multiple first responder organizations in Elmore County responded to a house fire in the 3900 block of Jug Factory Road this morning. The home is a total loss, and two family pets did not survive.
When First Responders first arrived on scene the home was fully involved, and neighbors reported they thought someone could still be inside.
Fortunately that was not the case, and the residents were found safe.
Responding to the call were Redland Fire Department, Emerald Mountain Fire Department, Wetumpka Fire Department, Elmore County Sheriff’s Office, Emergency Management and Haynes Ambulance. The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire. No further information is immediately available.
