Our featured pet this week is Flash. He is just a super dog!
Flash is a 3-year-old male Lab/Bird Dog mix who has already been neutered. He was an owner turn in to PAHS because his owner is taking care of an elderly parent and couldn’t keep him. Flash is light tan with white markings and he is a very good looking fellow. He currently weighs 56 pounds so he is medium to large size adult dog. Flash is very well behaved; he is leash trained, and crate trained. He loves water and he loves playing outside with his sister, Buttercup. Flash is sweet, loving, and affectionate. This friendly guy would do well in a home with other dogs and children. We just can’t say enough about what a nice dog Flash is. He is everything you could want in a new family member who would fit right in just about anywhere.
Our adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative. The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville and regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.
We will be closed for the Christmas holidays on Thursday & Friday, December 24th & 25th. We will be closed for New Years on Thursday & Friday, December 31st & January 1st.
