ELMORE/AUTAUGA NEWS

A Christmas Toy Drive in the Millbrook area is happening now through Dec. 14 for families who need a little help this year. The donations have been coming in, and the organizers say their real need is to hear from families who could benefit.

LAJA Training, Kesha’s Kreations and Friends have teamed together and donations have been above expectations.

“We are actually in more need of families to adopt. We have gotten quite a bit of support!  So the purpose would be if you need Christmas help contact the number listed on the flyer,” Jacquelyn Long-Thomas, a Millbrook Council member said.

Donate a new toy, item or monetary donation for boys or girls up to age 18 by contacting Tae Jackson at 334-531-7443 to schedule a pickup or drop off. This will assist them with their mission to adopt families and provide toys to families in need.

The event is presented by: CIA, Kesha’s Kreations, Affordable Cleaning Service, Commissioner Desirae Lewis, Steverose Outreach Organization, Councilwoman Jacquelyn Long-Thomas and Stephanie Daniels Smoke, Attorney at law.
