The Prattville Police Department has officially notified CrimeStoppers that a suspect has been identified from a Theft of Lost Property investigation.  Suspect is no longer wanted by Law Enforcement.

Investigators advise that thanks to the tips received from the public through CrimeStoppers they were able to identify and make contact with the suspect.  The suspect admitted that she was the one in the video and is cooperating with investigators. This case is still under investigation. Charges of Felony Theft of Lost Property 3rd degree is pending.

Title 13 Section 13A-8-8.1 – Theft of lost property in the third degree

(a) The theft of lost property which exceeds five hundred dollars ($500) in value but does not exceed one thousand four hundred and ninety-nine dollars ($1,499) in value constitutes theft of lost property in the third degree.

(b) Theft of lost property in the third degree is a Class D felony.
