PAHS Pet of the Week: Meet KK! Family Was Moving and Couldn’t Take her

FROM PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA HUMANE SHELTER

Our featured pet this week is KK.  She is just a cutie pie!

KK is a 9-year-old female Rat Terrier mix who must be spayed before she is adopted.  She was an owner turn in because her family is moving and couldn’t take her.  She is a cute girl who is white with black and brown markings.  KK only weighs 14 pounds so she is considered to be a small adult dog.  Don’t let her age fool you!  She may be a senior in years but she is quite active and playful.  This little cutie would be fine with children and other dogs.  KK might need to be fed separately from other dogs because she does have a bit of food aggression.  This is just an awesome and precious little girl. KK is pretty, sweet, and ready to find a new forever home.

Our adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.  Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.   The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.  We will be closed on Thursday, November 26th for Thanksgiving Day.  For more information about our shelter, please call 358-2882, find us on Facebook at Prattville/Autauga Humane Society, email autaugahumane@yahoo.com., or visit our website at www.prattvilleautaugahumane.org.

Thank you so much for all you do for these precious pets in their search for homes.

Sincerely,

Ara Horn
