From The Prattville Police Department
On 11/01/2020, The Prattville Police Department responded to Covered Bridge Parkway, Brentwood Landing Apartments, in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 23 year old male deceased as a result of a gunshot. A second victim, who was injured during the shooting, was transported to Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery. Officers were able to identify the shooter through the subsequent investigation and determined that the shooting was a result of an earlier senseless altercation between several male subjects. Several hours later, the suspect turned himself in to law enforcement at the Prattville Police Department Headquarters. The suspect was charged with Murder and Assault 2nd degree. The suspect is being held in the Autauga County Jail on bonds totaling $530,000.
