Theft of Property Suspect Identified in Reference to a Felony Theft of Currency

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has officially notified CrimeStoppers that a suspect has been identified in reference to a felony theft of currency that occurred at a convenience store.

Montgomery resident Quanderious Phillips (23 yoa) has been identified as the suspect in reference to the Theft of Property 1st degree investigation.  Phillips was identified by anonymous tips through CrimeStoppers. At the time of this release, Investigators advise that he has not been officially charged and that the case will be presented to grand jury. 

On Wednesday, September 30, 2020, Quanderious Phillips allegedly entered the Ztec Convenience Store located in the 10000 block of Chantilly Parkway. Once inside Phillips was able to enter an office area and steal envelopes containing over $3,000 in currency. No other details were released.

Note: A criminal charge is an accusation. The defendant is assumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
