First Responders from multiple agencies were called to the Canal Bridge in Holtville this evening, after an unidentified man allegedly tried to take his life by jumping from the bridge. The incident happened around 6:48 p.m. this evening.
Passersby stopped to try and assist the man and made calls to 911.
Haynes Ambulance Service responded to the call and took the man to an area hospital for apparently minor injuries. No further information is available, but due to the number of calls we received, we wanted to update and let readers know the man did survive.
