PRATTVILLE: A change of location for the annual fireworks show brought a better view for Prattville residents and guests who gathered near the Homeplace Clock Tower Friday evening for a big show lasting around minutes!

COVID-19 made a change necessary from the traditional Stanley Jensen Stadium location, and allowed for greater social distancing. Many remarked, they prefer the new location. Area residents watched from their cars, while others stood in parking lots or found grassy areas to spread a blanket for the family.

The view was beautiful even for passersby along I-65 or around town, with some cars pulling off on the side of the interstate for the show. Others close enough to the launch area gathered on porches, back yards and decks, inviting friends over to celebrate.

It was a spectacular night with perfect weather. Hats off to Prattville for a splendid evening!
