Lions Club Seeking Members for Millbrook; Meeting at Noon Feb. 20 at Habaneros

Alabama Lions District 34-B Membership Growth Team

Together We Grow!

Our Next Meeting:

You are invited to attend our next information and organization meeting at Noon on Thursday, February 20 at Habanero Restaurant, the next step in the formation of the club. The meeting will conclude by 1:00 PM.  If you would like to have lunch during the meeting, this will be “Dutch treat”.

Where we need to be:

Once we have a total of 20 “Paid” member applications, we can submit our formal Charter Application to Lions International, and your club can begin to function as the newest Lions Club in Alabama! Our target date is now delayed to February 25 to submit the Charter Application. If not already done so, we need for you to make the commitment now to be one of the initial 20 “Historical” Charter Members of The West Elmore County Lions Club. New Clubs typically Charter with 30 or more members.

What it will cost:

Initial membership cost includes a one-time entrance fee of $35 (this is waived for Veterans and students), and dues of $10 per month, paying February through June, for a total of $85. Thereafter, dues are billed on July 1 and January 1 annually.

For those who have not yet paid, but are committed in being a part of the new club, please complete the Charter Member Application and bring it and your payment to our meeting on Thursday. If you are unable to attend, email me at  georgehead@att.net  or call me:  334-312-1214  and I will come by and pick up your application and check.

Thank You for your interest. We hope to see you on Thursday, and perhaps you can bring a prospective member with you.
