Our Featured Pet is ReeRee! She is a su per dog.
ReeRee is a 3-year-old female Shepherd mix who has already been spayed. She came to PAHS as a stray and her owner never came to the shelter to reclaim her. Her gorgeous brown coat has some white markings. ReeRee has the most adorable ears! We love the way her ears frame her gorgeous face. ReeRee currently weighs 46 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized dog. She is a friendly girl who would be good with children and other dogs. We would not recommend that she be in a home with cats. ReeRee is super playful and frisky so we know she would appreciate a nice fenced yard where she could safely play. She would also enjoy life best with an active family who would include her in some outdoor fun. Please come meet her and see if you don’t think ReeRee is just a great all around dog and a real beauty!
Our adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative. The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.
