Our featured pet this week is Allie. Our closure dates are included for Christmas, staff training, & New Years. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
Allie is a 3-year-old female Shepherd mix who has already been spayed. She has a very pretty brown coat that is just as soft as can be. Allie currently weighs 32 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized adult dog. She is a sweet girl who came to PAHS as a stray so we are still learning about her. We believe that Allie will be fine with children. She is a little dog selective about her canine friends so if you have other dogs we would suggest you schedule a “meet and greet” with your dog and Allie at PAHS. Please consider giving Allie a chance to be part of your family.
Our adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative. The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville and is normally open Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.
We will be closed to the public on December 24th and 25th for Christmas and also on the 26th for our monthly staff development. Our New Year’s closure days will be December 31st and January 1st.
