Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce and Millbrook’s Economic Development Join Forces for Their Very First Open House

On Tuesday, December 10, the City of Millbrook, Millbrook Area Chamber and Economic Development Center held a successful first ever holiday open house. People from the surrounding area gathered to talk about plans for the holidays, indulge in great food, and listen to the sounds of the season. 

The event was open to the public and allowed members of the community to connect and to meet representatives from both The Chamber and Economic Development Center. City officials, business leaders and others from the community stop in to enjoy the event. 

They had an array of finger foods which included meatballs, mini quiches, fruit and sweets.

Elisa Jones the Director of MACC said “This event isn’t just for our members but everyone. We even had Martha Roby’s Field Representative stop in, Casey Rogers. This is a great networking opportunity. You never know who you will meet and when those contacts may come in handy.”

The Chamber also showcased the renovations of their new location, the old City Council building, which they moved into this past Summer.
