Around 3 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon (Nov. 26) a Braun Toyota Sienna crashed into the front of the Marco’s Pizza in Prattville, shattering the front glass, concaving both doors and leaving the lobby in an overall mess.
No injuries were reported in the accident and the driver of the vehicle was transported away shortly after by her grandson. The car was towed from the scene.
“No one actually saw it happen because we were working in the back,” said Marcos Manager Trish Worthington. “But we sure heard it. It sounded like a small explosion, and we heard the glass shatter and fly all over the place. It was pretty frightening for everyone here.”
Marcos will not be allowing pick-ups until the situation is fixed, however, they will still be delivering.
