The Elmore Autauga News and Chicken Salad Chicken Salad Chick are partnering together for their first ever 2019 Canned Food Drive!
If you are interested in donating, you can start dropping off your non-perishable items this Friday through December 9th at our location, 3455 Main Street or at Chicken Salad Chick in Prattville, the Millbrook or Prattville Food Outlet, the Prattville Publix, or the Millbrook Wal-Mart. Each location will have a bin, kindly donated from Marvin’s, where you can place the canned goods. All donations will benefit the Autauga Interfaith Care Center and the W.E.L.C.O.M.E. Center of Millbrook, so please, come out and support your local communities!
But it doesn’t stop there!
Three lucky individuals who donated will be eligible to win a large platter, two sides, cookies and a drink from Chicken Salad Chick! To enter into the drawing, upload a selfie or a photo of your kids dropping the food in the bins and attach the picture in the comment section below the pinned post at the top of our Facebook page. You must also ‘like’ both Elmore Autauga News and Chicken Salad Chick on Facebook in order to win.
To find out if you won, tune into our Facebook Live feed on December 9th at 2:00 pm where members of EAN, CSC, AICC, and the W.E.LC.O.M.E. Center will be announcing the winners of the giveaway LIVE at Chicken Salad Chick. If you’re one of the winners, stop by Chicken Salad Chick as soon as you can to claim your prize.
We’re also going to have some friendly competition between Prattville and Millbrook along the way to see which city can raise the most food! If you don’t want your city to fall behind in the lead, we suggest you get out as early and often as you can and start donating!
