Millbrook’s Recycling Center Once Again Accepting Plastic; Contracts with Repower South of Montgomery

BY SARAH STEPHENS, OWNER/EDITOR

The Millbrook Recycling Center, located on Grandview Road adjacent to Minnie Massey Park, is now accepting plastics again at the facility.

Several months ago a plastic recycling program through the Department of Corrections ceased, and left the city unable to continue the plastics program. However, a new agreement with a Montgomery company, Repower South, has brought it back, according to Street Department Director Brandon Harris.

“We ask that everyone please bag up all of the plastics donated,” Harris said.
