Don’t trash your pumpkin. Compost it! As part of our recycling program, The Public Works Department is collecting pumpkins to compost starting November 4-8. Please view the drop-off day for your area listed below. The Recycling Center is also accepting pumpkins for the entire month of November during normal business hours. If you have any questions, please call the Public Works Department at 595.0888. #recycle
Drop-off locations available from 7:30am – 3:00pm:
Monday – Overlook Park
Tuesday – New Fire Station Site on Old Ridge Rd.
Wednesday: Upper Kingston Park
Thursday: The Grove
Friday: Newton Park
