FROM THE PRATTVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT
On 10-16-2019, the Prattville Police Department responded to the area of North Memorial Dr. and Wright St. in reference to a robbery and shots fired. Witnesses were able to provide a description of the suspect and suspect vehicle. Officers set a perimeter and began searching for the suspect vehicle locating it on Shady Oak Ln. Prattville AL.
Officers conducted a felony traffic stop with the vehicle and detained 22-year-old Garey Edwards, 18-year-old Amir Jones, and 17-year-old Phuoc Nguyen. A search of the vehicle revealed the victim’s property and a .380 handgun. All three suspects were arrested and are being charged with Robbery 1st and Attempted Murder. The juvenile suspect is being charged as an adult.
